SUN VALLEY, Idaho (BRAIN) — Scott Montgomery has left Club Ride Apparel, where he has been CEO for three and a half years. Club Ride founder Mike Herlinger will take the reins as interim CEO, the company announced.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — Quality Bicycle Products has announced plans to open a distribution center in the Reno, Nev., area to serve its Western U.S. dealers.

The company's fourth U.S. facility is set to begin operations on Dec. 10 of this year.

GIVISIEZ, Switzerland (BRAIN) — Scott Sports S.A., has agreed to acquire the Dolomite footwear brand from Italy's Tecnica Group S.p.A, for an undisclosed amount.

Scott, based in Switzerland, announced Thursday that it had signed a preliminary agreement for the takeover of Tecnica's Dolomite division.

PITTSBURGH (BRAIN) — Dirt Rag's art director for the last seven years, Matt Kasprzyk, is moving on to a new career at Scott Sports. Kasprzyk's vacancy will be filled by long­time Bicycle Times art director, Stephen Haynes.

Dirt Rag's Issue #188 will be Kasprzyk's last with the magazine.
