IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Felt Bicycles has made four new hires in sales, product management and marketing — including industry veteran Adam Micklin as director of sales, international.

Micklin has held leadership positions at industry companies including Hayes, Shimano and Hutchinson. He most recently served as vice president of sales at Mountain Racing Products.

At this month's Bicycle Leadership conference in Monterey, California, Micklin was elected president of the Bicycle Product Suppliers Association.

Matt Kephart has been named Felt's new FRD (Felt Racing Development) market leader for Northern California. Kephart has held sales positions for both Fox apparel and Specialized, where he oversaw sales efforts in California, Hawaii and international territories.

"We're very excited to bring Adam to the team. Adam's years of bicycle industry experience will be incredibly valuable as our company expands our international sales department," said Michael Forte, Felt's general manager. "Likewise, we're thrilled to bring Matt aboard in order to provide improved service to our retailers in one of the brand's most significant territories."

Hubert Otlik has joined Felt as global road brand manager, developing key branding strategies for the company's road, triathlon, track and cyclocross series. Otlik has years of project management experience with World Bicycle Relief, Shimano and, most recently, electronics brand Belkin.

"Hubert is the ideal brand manager to head up Felt's efforts to continue to grow our road category's leadership position in terms of product development and technology," said Brian Wilson, Felt's director of product development.

Additionally, Michael White has joined Felt as communications specialist. White has nearly six years of cycling journalism experience, having served as assistant editor for Hi-Torque Publications' Road Bike Action magazine during that time, as well as several additional years of sales and marketing experience.

"Michael's unique perspective from his years documenting the technological developments of the bike industry will see him lend his voice to improving the efforts of Felt's marketing team," Forte said. "We're excited to have this new group of team members join us as Felt continues to grow and enhance the bike buying experience for our retailers and consumers."
