LONG BEACH, Calif. (BRAIN) — Pioneer Electronics USA Inc.'s Cycle Sports division has released the SGY-PMLTC Power Meter Installation Kit, allowing consumers to add its Single Leg Power Meter to existing compatible Shimano 11-speed Dura-Ace, Ultegra or Shimano 105 left arm cranks.

INDIANAPOLIS (BRAIN) — Silca has released a collection of products aimed at users of road tubeless tires, including new tubeless valve kits and tubeless tape that is optimized for use on carbon rims.

VENTURA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Zeitbike is now distributing Fly Pedals' clipless pedal adapters, which convert clipless pedals to platform pedals. The adapters accept most clipless cleats for road or offroad pedals, including two-, three-, and four-hole cleats.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — RockyMounts is introducing a new hitch-mount bike rack that weighs just 44 pounds, which the company said is lighter than the competition.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Tern is expanding its recall of some folding bikes. The recall, first announced in May 2013 covering about 175 bikes, has now been expanded to cover an additional 220 bikes, which were sold as recently as this month. The affected frames can break at the hinge on the toptube.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (BRAIN) — Santa Cruz lifted its embargo today on its new Tallboy 29er. The Tallboy 3 expands travel by 10 millimeters. It’s also longer, lower and slacker to reflect modern trail geometry. 

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (BRAIN) — The Wolf tooth Fat Paw mountain bike grips were designed by Wolf Tooth Components and manufactured by Red Monkey Sports. The 100 percent silcone grips for riders who prefer a large diameter grip with a softer feel.

TEMPE, Ariz. (BRAIN) — State Bicycle Co.'s new Megalith Fat Bike is designed for snow, sand or pavement. The model comes in two colors: Midnight Blue or Neapolitan and with singlespeed or 8-speed drivetrain.

RICHMOND, Calif. (BRAIN) — Ventana Mountain Bikes USA has released the Wolfram 27.5-plus model with a Pinion gearbox and Gates Carbon Drive belt.

TORONTO (BRAIN) — Baron Biosystems has released three new apps that work with some Garmin bike computers through Garmin's Connect IQ store. 

The three apps work with Garmin's Edge 520, Edge 1000 and Edge Explore 1000.
