BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — Salsa Cycles has issued a safety notice for certain Carbon Deluxe V2 and Carbon V2 forks equipped on Cutthroat model bikes that were shipped to dealers beginning in September 2019.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued recall notices for two of the three bike helmets that failed tests performed by Consumer Reports magazine last year. After the magazine test, one of the helmet makers disputed its findings, calling them "fake news." That company, Morpher, is now closed.

SANTEE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Sidi is launching a new gravel riding shoe for the 2021 season.

The Sidi Gravel features the brand's MTB Competition sole for efficient pedaling and traction off the bike. The sole is toe spike compatible for muddy conditions.

DENVER (BRAIN) — BOA Technology's new Li2 dial platform will debut on cycling shoes this fall from Fizik, Scott, Rapha, Gaerne, Lake and DMT, and on new shoes from Bontrager, Giro, Louis Garneau and Specialized in 2021. Some top professional riders are already racing in shoes with the new dials.
