WATERLOO, Wis. (BRAIN) — The District 4 is Trek's new belt-driven city commuter bike line, featuring internal gearing and self-powered lights.
The Gates CDX carbon belt drive provides a quiet ride with low maintenance. The lights are powered by a dynamo generator hub, and the District 4 comes with fenders, kickstand, and rear rack.
The Shimano internal hub offers wide-range eight-speed gearing, and Trek offers the District 4 in two frame designs: diamond or stagger (step-through). The 40c tires provide stability and traction and also have a reflective sidewall. Both models come equipped with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.
The District 4 and District 4 Stagger each have a MSRP of $1,699.99.
