Fox launches new lightweight dropper post series

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fox Factory's new Transfer SL series of dropper posts are about 35% lighter than the standard Transfer posts. The company claims the new posts are the lightest "mainstream" dropper posts on the market.

The posts are offered with lever options for drop bars, flat bars and for use with front shifters. The posts are targeted at gravel riders and XC racers.

The posts feature a window in the lower post that allows the cable clamp/slack to be adjusted from the side for use with GRX-style dropper levers. The posts have two positions that lock at the top and bottom only. It comes in short and long travel versions to fit various bike and rider sizes. It uses a coil spring and is available for internal cable routing only.

The posts come in 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters and 50, 70, 75, and 100mm drop options. 70-to-85 degree seat angles are supported.
