BEND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Athlete body care product brand Zealios has launched its new LipGuard SPF 28 Sunscreen Lip Balm.
LipGuard's formula includes active sun protectant ingredients, natural shea butter, and oils. The company said it will hydrate lips while providing sun protection.
"Sun protection is very important for athletes training hundreds of hours outdoors. While our #1 selling product, Sun Barrier SPF 45 sunscreen, protects athletes' skin, we've always known we would develop a premium SPF lip balm to complete an athlete's sun coverage," said Kevin Fuller, co-founder of Zealios.
"SPF lip balms currently on the market are either chalky leaving a white residue or don't stay on your lips for longer than 30 minutes and most have minimal SPF protection. By combining super hydrating ingredients like shea butter, jojoba and coconut oils, LipGuard provides long-lasting coverage while providing broad-spectrum sun protection for hours."
LipGuard is clear with a smooth consistency for even coverage, the company said.
"A sunscreen lip balm has been one of the top requested products from our customers. They want a lip balm to match the quality SPF protection they've come to trust us and our Sun Barrier sunscreen for," said Fuller. "We really put LipGuard to the test when developing the formula. After months and months of tweaks and testing during open water swims, ultra marathons, and dusty bike rides, we think we've created the best SPF lip balm on the market."
A 0.25 oz. squeeze tube retails for $6.95. For more information, visit the Zealios website.
