AIGLE, Switzerland (BRAIN) — The UCI on Friday reminded the industry that starting in the new year, it will relax some rules on how riders are positioned on time trial bikes, making the bike approval process at races quicker and more predictable.

HOLSEBRO, Denmark (BRAIN) — Danish ceramic bearing maker CeramicSpeed has named Ben Powell as its U.S. aftermarket operations manager. Powell has worked with HED Cycling and will work out of Clermont, Florida, and Boulder, Colorado, as CeramicSpeed targets the U.S. market for the first time.

ROSSANO VENETO, Italy (BRAIN) — Thieves stole 6,000 saddles — worth about 1 million euros ($1.4 million) — from the Selle San Marco warehouse here on Friday night, the company said.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Highway Two will become the exclusive distributor of Kask cycling helmets in the U.S. and Canada in January. Highway Two will serve North American retailers through its network of 11 inside and 40 outside sales reps and territory managers, the company said in a press release.
