POMONA, CA (BRAIN)—Fresh off its debut event, the Recumbent Cycle-Con Convention & Tradeshow has scheduled its second edition for Oct. 26-28, 2012, at Southern California’s Pomona Fairplex.
WINDSOR, CO (BRAIN)—Jett is trading its old digs in downtown Fort Collins, Colorado, for a new 3,000-square-foot office and warehouse space just down the road in Windsor. The company supplies Jett mountain bike apparel and Declare custom apparel.
GRAND RAPIDS, MI (BRAIN)—Tom and John Black, brothers and partners in Velocity Rims, will begin manufacturing in Jacksonville, Florida, in February 2012. Velocity’s current production facility in Brisbane, Australia, will cease operations by the end of this month.

LAGUNA HILLS, CA (BRAIN)—Bicycle Retailer and Industry News has hired Steve Frothingham as web editor. He starts Dec. 1.
Frothingham is currently editor of VeloNews.com. His last day with Competitor Group, Inc., owner of the news website and Velo magazine, is Nov. 18.

MONTREAL (BRAIN)—Dorel Industries has outsourced the custom manufacturing division of Sugoi’s apparel business in a move to increase profitability in that division, Dorel executives said Thursday during a conference call to discuss the company’s third quarter earnings.
