CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (BRAIN) — Zagster, Inc., a provider of private and public-private bike sharing systems, has raised $10 million in a Series B round of funding led by Edison Partners, a growth equity capital firm.

SANTA FE, N.M. (BRAIN) — Bicycle Technologies International is now distributing Bryton GPS computers, with the first shipments of Bryton products arriving in BTI's warehouse Friday.

Bryton, a Taiwan-based manufacturer of multisport GPS products, debuted in the U.S. market in 2015.

Olson is stepping down as chief marketing officer at Specialized this month. Chrome will move from San Francisco to Portland this spring.

SAN FRANCISCO (BRAIN) — Slate Olson, who announced last week that he would step down as chief marketing officer at Specialized, will become the new president of Chrome Industries. Chrome also announced it was moving its headquarters from San Francisco to Portland in April. 

SAN CARLOS, Calif. (BRAIN) — Beeline Bikes and Competitive Cyclist announced Wednesday that Beeline’s mobile bike shops are now available as an on-site assembly option for bikes purchased on Competitive Cyclist and Backcountry.com in select markets.

INDIANAPOLIS (BRAIN) — Marian University's cycling team is offering a student mechanic scholarship program intended to give college students experience as a cycling race mechanic.

Year-to-date shipments are down nearly 8%.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — November gave suppliers a glimmer of hope and helped offset losses earlier in the year. Suppliers shipped 16,715 more units to retailers during the month than a year earlier — an increase of about 12 percent.
