NEW YORK (BRAIN) — Mayor Zohran Mamdani said Wednesday legal action will be taken against online retailers selling e-bikes, e-scooters, and other motorized devices that exceed speed, weight, or fail to meet other mandatory city safety requirements.

SEATTLE (BRAIN) — A suit filed by Amazon and UL against five e-bike and e-scooter companies for allegedly falsely claiming their e-bikes and scooters were UL-certified has ended in a court order barring the companies from doing it anymore.
