DENKENDORF, Germany (BRAIN) — After years of limited availability in North America, the German gearbox brand Pinion is targeting U.S. and Canadian sales with the opening of an office in Denver in conjunction with Gates Corporation.

DENVER (BRAIN) — Rudy Project North America has launched a new website for its authorized dealers. The site is intended for dealers to find and learn about Rudy's sunglass, prescription, helmet, goggle and sports products and technologies.

MILWAUKEE (BRAIN) — Olympic Supply has hired industry veteran Joe Hall as its new Ohio sales representative. Hall was most recently the North American sales manager for Kenda USA. Previous to Kenda he also worked as a service manager, salesmen, and mechanic for bike shops in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Vintage Electric Bikes is expanding its marketing with several additions.

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — The in-house test lab for Bell Helmets and Giro, called The Dome, has launched a helmet education website called HelmetFacts.com.

LOS ANGELES (BRAIN) — Stile Products, Inc., a subsidiary of Tern, will resume all Tern distribution across Canada, effective immediately.

The move consolidates Tern's U.S. and Canada operations, the company said.

IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Felt Bicycles has announced that sales representative Juan Diaz will expand his territory to all of Southern California. In addition to the California territory from San Luis Obispo in the north to San Diego in the south, Diaz also handles Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.

BIG FLATS, N.Y. (BRAIN) — Stan's NoTubes has hired Clayton Goldsmith. Initially, Goldsmith is focusing on OE sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, but he will also lead several internal projects aimed at improving product availability and reducing lead-times for European customers.

RICHMOND, Australia (BRAIN) — Accessory brand Knog and its U.S. distributor, Highway Two, are now offering an employee purchase program for Knog's new PWR lights.

CHICAGO (BRAIN) — The CABDA Expo has begun general exhibitor registration for its annual trade show held in February.

The 2018 expo will be the fourth since the show was restarted in 2015.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (BRAIN) — HIA Velo, the owner and manufacturer of Allied Cycle Works, has brought on a chief operating officer, who is also a partner, and opened its first two European distributors for Allied frames and bikes.

AMERICAN FORK, Utah (BRAIN) — Grip and handlebar tape manufacturer Lizard Skins has completed a deal to acquire Oury Grips, which also makes grips for bicycles and powersports.

Oury has been designing and manufacturing grips since 1968, while Lizard Skins celebrates its 25th anniversary in January.

MIAMI (BRAIN) — Several bike suppliers and retailers in Florida say they plan to reopen this week following the storms this weekend, although many retailers and bike industry folks were unreachable Monday due to power and telephone outages.

DURANGO, Colo. (BRAIN) — Tailwind Nutrition products are now being distributed by Hans Johnsen Company and Downeast Bicycle Specialists. Tailwind's full line of products will now be available from both distributors.
