Shimano celebrates its 100th anniversary next year.

OSAKA, Japan (BRAIN) — Shimano Inc. sales in its bicycle segment were down in the first nine months of 2020, but the company has revised up its full-year earnings and revenue projections due to greater use of bicycles globally during the COVID-19 pandemic.

MILWAUKEE (BRAIN) — Harley-Davidson, which has been eyeing the e-bike market for several years, announced Tuesday that it will create a dedicated e-bike division launching in March 2021.

The Serial 1 Cycle Company is named for the nickname of Harley's first motorcycle model, "Serial Number 1."

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (BRAIN) — Sam Nehme might own Broward Motorsports, but he's a mountain biker at heart.

"I've always been on a Specialized, and I really wanted to have the full line (of bikes) and be a full-on store," Nehme said.
