CARLSBAD, Calif. (BRAIN) — Haro Bicycle Corp., the distributor of Haro, Masi, Del Sol, and Premium, has added several new independent sales representatives. The company said it is adding the reps to support double-digit sales growth in the U.S.

STOCKHOLM (BRAIN) — POC has extended its sponsorship of Scottish mountain biker Danny MacAskill by another three years, through 2019.

POC has been working with MacAskill since 2009.  

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (BRAIN) — Endura has hired Alan Rowland to represent the brand in Northern California.

Rowland has more than 25 years of sales experience in representation and senior management across the cycling, run, and ski industries. He is now based in the Bay Area.

Increases are mostly confined to higher-end, Japan-made parts. Some parts see a price decrease.

IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) — In a letter sent to retailers Monday, Shimano American announced that it is raising its wholesale prices between 9 and 14 percent on parts produced primarily at its Japanese factories. 

The EZ Lift stand is now $2,000 for all customers.

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Efficient Velo Tools has updated its pricing so that some of its tools now have the same price for wholesale or consumer customers. The company also has announced updates to its bearing press tool.

VALLEJO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Wren Sports, LLC  has appointed Cranknuts as its European fork distributor and service center.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Interbike says momentum is increasing for its new fall trade event in North Carolina, the Fall CycloFest. The event organizer announced Friday that Trek Bicycle is among the major brands committed to display at CycloFest.

LEXINGTON, S.C. (BRAIN) — Hawley has been expanding its sales and service coverage across the United States, following the company's acquisition of Accell's parts and accessories division, Seattle Bicycle Supply.

PHILADELPHIA (BRAIN) — Advanced Sports International, the owner of SE Bikes, said it is investigating how Costco got about 50 of its bikes, which the warehouse retailer has been selling at its stores around the country. ASI said it did not consent to selling the bikes through Costco.

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (BRAIN) — Endura has hired MISO Partners to represent the brand in New England.
