ALISO VIEJO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Highway Two has promoted Brendan Gecik to North American outside sales manager. Gecik has most recently been Highway Two's territory manager for Northern California.
The distributor's president, Simon McNair, announced the internal promotion this week to Highway Two's brand partners and outside team.
"Brendan has played a big role in making Highway Two what it is over the last three years. He has been a natural leader on the outside and we are excited to see what he can do on the inside," McNair said. "It is the best possible scenario when you can promote from within and Brendan really made the decision easy!"
Gecik said, "The pace of the bicycle industry has changed substantially over the past few years and I'm excited to be part of a leadership team and group of brands that are embracing these changes creatively. We're just scratching the surface of our team's capabilities and I'm proud to now help lead that charge."
Highway Two LLC is a joint venture between Continental Tires and Selle Royal, distributing Continental, Fizik ,Crankbrothers, Selle Royal, Brooks England, Kask, Abus and Knog.
