MUNICH, Germany—It could become a slugfest between two German trade shows, Eurobike and Bike Expo. Messe München threw the first punch announcing it would re-launch its show next year with new dates, 13 days before Eurobike.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—A recent flurry in buyer registration has prompted Interbike show organizers to extend the deadline for free retail attendee registration.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—With 30 business days left before Interbike 2011, the 30th anniversary of the show has already surpassed last year’s show in overall size.
PARK CITY, UTAH (BRAIN)—If one thing was clear after the first day of DealerCamp: it’s gained ground with vendors. About 130 companies representing 200 brands set up tents in the parking lot of the Deer Valley Resort Monday night. That’s up from 27 companies and 51 brands last year.
MUNICH, Germany (BRAIN)—Bike Expo reported a 14 percent increase in industry visitors at this year’s show with more than 6,500 in attendance from 50 countries, according to a post-show press release issued by its organizer, Messe München.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN)—Interbike is installing Portland Design Works’ Circulus—a 132-foot circumference (40.2m), 45-degree wooden mini-velodrome inside the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
LAS VEGAS, NV (BRAIN)—Signaling that both the cyclocross season and Interbike are approaching, registration for CrossVegas opens on August 2. The biggest cyclocross race in America takes place for a fifth year on Wednesday, September 14 following the first day of Interbike.
