QBP launches ScanToCart app to ease ordering

Published September 8, 2014

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — QBP has rolled out a new app, ScanToCart, that enables dealers to create orders on the fly by scanning barcodes with a smartphone or tablet.

"QBP's e-commerce team is excited to leverage its new technologies to help bike dealers have a great experience as a partner of QBP," app developer Mike Peterson said. "Stay tuned for even more dealer-friendly offerings in the future."

Using qbp.com credentials, dealers can log in and start a new cart, or add to their most recently active cart, by scanning barcodes on the sales floor or in their service department. When scanning, they'll go to a product page that will allow them to select a quantity and add the item to the cart. After the item has been added, the scanner will reappear. If the desired product doesn't have a barcode or the barcode is damaged, there is also a QBP part number/UPC search option available from the menu.

ScanToCart is available for iPhone and iPad at the App Store and for Android devices on the Google Play store.
