MORGAN HILL, Calif. (BRAIN) — Ben Capron, who previously served as chief brand officer at Specialized Bicycle Components, is back at the Morgan Hill, Calif., company.
Capron, who left to join the National Interscholastic Cycling Association full-time as development director in 2011 and also helped launch Osmo Nutrition in 2012, returned at the start of the year as director of product marketing at Specialized.
Capron is now leading a team focused on understanding and articulating what riders need and want, according to a company spokesperson.
"It's great to come 'home' to Specialized," said Capron. "I'm stoked to be in this role. It puts together all of the aspects of my career to date — product development, marketing and passion for the sport. The players on the product marketing team and the resources we have to understand and deliver on rider needs are unparalleled. I couldn't be more excited."
Capron worked close to 20 years at Specialized in various roles before NICA and Osmo.
