CLAYTON, Ga. (BRAIN) — Novatec Wheels U.S. Inc. has ceased operations as of a month ago, the company announced on Wednesday.
Citing market challenges, the wheelset, hub, and accessory manufacturer also noted "industry trends and the long-term viability of our operations" for its U.S. closure June 30.
"Despite our team's best efforts and your valued support, the challenges proved insurmountable," Novatec U.S. General Manager Jake Scott wrote in a new release.
Novatec has four factories in China for entry- to mid-level products and one in Taichung, Taiwan, focusing on high-end products.
"We want to express our sincere gratitude to all our customers, employees, partners, and
supporters who have been a part of our journey," Scott concluded. "Your trust and collaboration have meant the world to us."
