COSTA MESA, CA (BRAIN)—The National Bicycle Dealers Association upgraded to a new office space this week.
Fred Clements, the association’s executive director, said the reason for the move was the deteriorating environment of its previous office building. The NBDA had been in that office since 1999.
TEMECULA, CA (BRAIN)—Intense Cycles has added new independent reps in selected areas throughout the United States.
New to the Intense rep force are Steven Jonsson in Northern California, Chris Gebhardt in New York/New Jersey and Andrew Ewas in New England.

The new policy would empower park superintendents to manage trails for bicycles, without sacrificing environmental review or public comment opportunities.

COSTA MESA, CA (BRAIN)—Several retailers have reported unauthorized withdrawals of nearly $300 from their bank accounts in recent weeks from a company called www.bicycledata.com, which runs a directory service for the industry.
SANTA ANA, CA (BRAIN)—Bike dealers, suppliers, associates, advocates and non-members are all invited to participate at the 2009 NBDA Regional Super Seminars.
These one-day events have become a cornerstone of the NBDA's educational program for member dealers, attracting hundreds each year.
PHILADELPHIA, PA (BRAIN)—Advanced Sports, Inc has hired Scott Anderson as an outside sales representative.
Anderson will be responsible for all Fuji, SE, Kestrel and Breezer dealers in the Colorado, Utah, Northern Arizona and New Mexico territory.
