BOULDER, CO (BRAIN)—Bikes Belong has awarded grants for three projects for its Summer 2010 grant cycle. These projects will build bike paths and increase advocacy to provide better connectivity and more options for seasoned, new, and emerging riders.

SOUTH PASADENA, CA (BRAIN)—A cadre of bicycle and publishing industry veterans has launched Move Press. The first media property to come from Move Press will be Peloton whose Web site will launch on September 21 and will be followed by a bi-monthly print edition on newsstands November 8.

Read with interest about the new Giro Cycling Shoe line and it sounds interesting. Not that anyone should enter the shoe market thinking it's not going to be a hyper competitive smackdown of ultimate fighting proportions. Giro knows from past experience.  If anyone can pull it off it might be Giro. Greg Shapleigh is smart, understands high quality product development and their current distribution and brand strength speaks for itself.
