MADRID, Spain (BRAIN)—Tour de France champion Alberto Contador claims a contaminated steak is to blame for his positive drug test.

According to an ESPN report, Contador's reasoning isn't far fetched, since the drug he's accused of taking is sometimes illegally given to beef cattle.

For the past four years, Cannondale was the technical bicycle sponsor for the team.
