State Bicycle Co. launches direct distribution in Australia

MELBOURNE, Australia (BRAIN) — Singlespeed and fixed-gear brand State Bicycle Co. has begun direct distribution in Australia, speeding delivery to customers there without international shipping fees.

Prices start at AU$699 ($508), and to celebrate the Australian launch State is offering a AU$100 discount on all bikes purchased and shipped to Australian purchasers through Oct. 31 at statebicycle.com.au.

"We're passionate about our bicycles and know that they are going to be a popular shopping choice as the holiday season approaches," said Mehdi Farsi, co-founder of State Bicycle Co.
