SANTA ROSA, Calif. (BRAIN) — Former pro team doctor and coach Dr. Max Testa is offering training plans for participants in this year's Levi Leipheimer's King Ridge Gran Fondo, the event's organizers announced. The October event in Sonoma County, California, attracts about 7,500 riders.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Executives for PeopleForBikes have selected a researcher to survey U.S. rider participation including breakdowns of rides and rider types.
The survey is near completion and will be programmed and in the field by Aug. 25. A final report is slated for completion in October.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (BRAIN) — Valdora Cycles, a triathlon-specific bike brand, is now working with Rumbleship, a San Francisco distributor. Valdora is the first sport-specific bike brand being offered by Rumbleship, which facilitates group orders and drop shipments from suppliers to independent retailers.
