Published October 17, 2024

LOUISVILLE, Colo. (BRAIN) — Local Liquidators is handling the auction of the contents of The Pro's Closet facility here. The used bike seller closed its doors earlier this month.

Local Liquidators has listed the facility's contents, including bike repair, display and storage tools, and office and warehouse items. The 2,000-plus lots being auctioned also includes some bikes, frames, parts and accessories.

An auction preview will be held Tuesday Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The live auction began Oct. 11 and ends Wednesday, Oct. 23. The auction company does not offering shipping; purchased items must be picked up at the facility between Oct. 24 and Oct. 30.

The Pro's Closet closed on at least $80 million in venture and private equity capital during its 18 years in operation; post-pandemic market conditions, including steep discounting on new bikes, contribvuted to its closing. The business does not appear to have declared bankruptcy.
