LONGMONT, Colo. (BRAIN) — Advanced Sports International's surprise decision to buy the retailer Performance Bicycle was the most-read story on BicycleRetailer.com in 2016. ASI, the owner of Fuji, Kestrel, Breezer, SE and other brands, announced in August that it would buy the retailer, which has about 100 brick-and-mortar locations in addition to its e-commerce business.
