BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — CatEye has reduced the suggested retail price of its Rapid X front and rear safety lights to $35 each; dealer margins remain the same, the company said. The lights originally retailed for $40.
The Rapid X lights are USB rechargeable and are lightweight and slim for use day or night by all cyclists, including enthusiasts concerned about styling and weight. They have several mounting options and side visibilit; they produce 50 lumens front and 25 lumens rear. The front and rear lights are sold independently or as a pair, and currently available to retailers as a kit including a free countertop or slat-wall display. Standard retailer margins remain at keystone for non-program dealers and hit 60 points for CatEye Direct Dealers.
