Lightened, redesigned 36 RC2 highlights Fox 2015 line

Published April 8, 2014

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fox has unveiled its 2015 line of forks that includes a lightened 36 RC2 enduro model and refinements to other forks engineered through the company's Racing Applications Development (RAD) program.

Redesigned for all three wheel sizes, the 4.19-pound 36 RC2 drops half a pound from its preceding iteration and has a redesigned valve system, a new air spring that equalizes rider weight for improved traction, and a convertible axle that works with both 15- and 20-millimeter through-axles.

Refinements from the RAD program include new compression tunes, redesigned damper seals and a new lubrication oil.
Fox 32 and 34 forks have updated damping tunes to improve small-bump compliance and traction, and 32 & 34 Factory models get on-the-fly CTD damping adjustment and seven-click Trail mode fine-tuning. The 32, 34, 36 and 40 lines now use an advanced lubrication oil that integrates Molybdenum from the Kashima Coat formula.

For a limited time, Fox is also offering a "Stealth" line of three blacked-out Float fork models with black decals and black anodized knobs: 32 29-inch/100-millimeter CTD w/Trail Adjust; 34 27.5-inch/160-millimeter CTD w/Trail Adjust; and 40 26-inch/203-millimeter RC2.

And as Fox marks its 40th anniversary this year, it's also offering heritage fork and shock decal kits that harken back to the early days of motocross. They're available in red, blue, white, green and tennis ball yellow. Each set includes fork and shock decals.
