FAIRFIELD, Calif. (BRAIN) — Jelly Belly has introduced a new flavor for its Sports Beans, Strawberry Banana Smoothie.

Like other Sports Beans flavors, they come in packs of six retailing for $7.99 or packs of 24 for $29.95.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Advanced Composites Inc. is recalling about 40 Wound Up carbon fiber tandem forks that were sold in 2015. The fork leg can crack, the company said. 

The company, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has received one report of a cracked fork leg. 

VENETO, Italy. (BRAIN) — Elite is paying tribute to Tom Dumoulin's triumph at last month's Giro d'Italia with a limited edition Drivo Rosa trainer. Dumoulin, along with Giro podium finishers Nairo Quintana and Vincenzo Nibali, train on Elite Drivo trainers. 

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (BRAIN) — The new Niner BSB (Blood, Sweat, Beer) has been updated and made into a race-ready cyclocross machine. The new BSB will be available in limited quanities, the company said.

KIRKLAND, Wash. (BRAIN) — BikeFit has launched a mobile app for Android devices that lets cyclists measure their foot tilt and that recommends the number of the company's Cleat Wedges needed to optimize pedaling.

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Fox's new Float DPX2 combines elements of the brand's Float X2 downhill shock and its Float DPS trail shock. The new DPX2 is a piggyback-style air spring intended for all mountain and enduro use.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (BRAIN) — Quality Bicycle Products is now distributing Montague Bikes' RackStand, a rear rack that converts to a workstand or kickstand, and which also includes a mud guard. The RackStand was an award winner at last year's Eurobike.

KENT, Wash. (BRAIN) — Raleigh has launched a new line of fashion bikes that are available consumer direct from the company's website with Ready Ride assembly, a level of assembly first introduced by Raleigh's sister company, Diamondback, in March. All Raleigh bikes will be available with Ready Ride by the end of 2018, the company said.

There are more than 18,000 Strava-connected apps available.

SAN FRANCISCO (BRAIN) — Strava has added a directory to its website that shows a sampling of third-party apps that have sprung up recently that make use of users' Strava ride data.

DALLAS (BRAIN) — Zevlin, a small handlebar tape and skincare brand run by brothers Brad and Drew Hagestad, has launched reformulated Crack and Super Crack chamois creams.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Stages Cycling is now shipping Stages Dash and Stages Link — a GPS bike head unit and a cloud-based training software system, respectively. Both products were announced last year.

CHICAGO (BRAIN) — SRAM went public Thursday with its GX Eagle group, which offers most of the features of its 12-speed XX1 and XO1 Eagle groups at a lower price.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Cycling Sports Group is recalling about 1,240 GT mountain bikes because the handlebars can crack.

GT sold about 1,000 of the bikes in the U.S. and 240 in Canada.
