While athletes from all around the world are gearing up for the Olympics, unicyclists are preparing for their own World Championships, taking place July 14-26, 2024. For the first time in 22 years, Unicon, the International Unicycling Federation World Championship and Convention, is back in the United States. Happening in Bemidji, Minnesota, over 1,200 unicyclists from across the globe will be coming to compete across six different disciplines for world titles and records.
This international, biennial event welcomes anyone and everyone interested in learning from or just watching the world’s most elite unicyclists. Daily workshops open to the public include beginner riding lessons and new skills lessons. There will also be a Unicycle Museum featuring a collection of 90+ vintage, unique, and unusual unicycles, parts, old films, magazines, figurines and shirts.
All competitions are open to the public to attend, and most are free to attend. Some of the event finals, including floor hockey, basketball and freestyle experts do require the purchase of a $15 ticket.
Tickets will be available on-site using cash and credit cards for $15 each.
