New exhibitors include Campy, Zipp and Pivot.

PARK CITY, Utah (BRAIN) — Canyon Bicycles has decided to pull out of next month's Bike PressCamp, saying it's too busy to participate this year.

Organizers of the PressCamp noted that several new brands — including Campagnolo, Zipp and Pivot — have recently decided to attend the event, however.

In a statement released by PressCamp, Canyon USA president Blair Clark said, "While we love meeting the media and the riding opportunities offered by PressCamp in Park City in June, given our immediate staffing requirements and the broad array of cross-functional processes to insure the best customer experience on our web-shop, we've decided for Canyon to attend PressCamp Road this coming January, 2018, instead.

"By then, we will have launched sales in America and will be better situated to handle the demands generated by the exposure, which is guaranteed by attending PressCamp," Clark said.

Canyon expects to begin sales in the U.S. in August.

The PressCamp event is June 19-23. Currently 22 brands are committed to exhibiting: Exhibitor list. PressCamp organizer ECRM is still selling the event and may still add more exhibitors, the company told BRAIN on Tuesday.

"Despite Canyon's move to January, we still have a very strong list of brands and media titles attending and we are looking forward to another productive and fun event," said Lance Camisasca, ECRM's senior vice president active lifestyle.

Outdoor PressCamp will be held concurrently with Bike PressCamp at Deer Valley Resort in Park City.
