SANTEE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Ciclista-America, formed in 2013 as the exclusive U.S. distributor of Sidi cycling shoes, has expanded with the addition of Forcefield Body Armor, and most recently, Suomy cycling helmets. Reflecting that growth, the company has recently restructured its sales department and added an additional inside sales rep.
David Merten, the company's national sales manager, said sales staff are now "territory managers" rather than simple phone sales people. The change increases the staff members' responsibilities to the area retailers and outside sales reps.
"These changes will provide more efficient management of our territories and help us to be much more proactive. Creating leads and improving follow-up will be key components to a more prosperous 2017. This change will serve to further strengthen relationships with our dealers, and make Ciclista America a more integral component to our dealer's success." Merten said.
Ciclista America has also teamed up with In Gear Representation for sales representation in the central United States.
"2017 is a very pivotal year for Ciclista America, and changes have been made and new developments implemented, to create and capitalize on every possible opportunity," Merten said.
