SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (BRAIN) — The Glukos Company Inc. has expanded its roster of action sports athletes by signing BMX and mountain bike icon Mike King. As a Glukos ambassador, King will race in Glukos custom kits and will play a role developing the Glukos off-road cycling team, comprised of mountain bike, BMX and cyclocross athletes.
King is a former BMX and mountain bike world champion and Olympic coach.
"I am excited to build Glukos'' off-road cycling team and aid in their expansion into the action sports world," said King. King joins skateboarding legend Steve Caballero as one of the first action sports stars on the Glukos roster, which already includes All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown, 2016 Olympian Jared Ward and top Ironman and Ironman 70.3 competitors Mary Beth Ellis, Liz Lyles, Sarah Haskins and T.J. Tollakson.
