WILTON, Conn. (BRAIN) — Cycling Sports Group has promoted Nick Hage to general manager IBD U.S. and appointed Steve Reeds senior vice president operations.

Hage has been with CSG's U.S. commercial organization for more than six years and the day-to-day sales leader the company's U.S. IBD business for the past year. He will report to president and CEO Peter Woods and will have CSG's IBD U.S. leadership team supporting him across marketing, sales, finance and operations.

Reeds has more than 20 years of experience in global operations and sourcing within Dorel Sports, CSG's parent. "Steve's appointment gives a clear, single-point accountability for the entire CSG supply chain, and will help to drive further improvements in efficiency and effectiveness for our customers and suppliers," CSG stated.

Woods said: "I'm confident these changes will provide us with strong leadership for both the CSG US IBD business and our global CSG Operations team. We're in the middle of launching our MY17 products to dealers and consumers around the world and just wrapped up our sales meetings in Europe and Japan. We're receiving excellent feedback to our MY17 product line and are thrilled to be launching it to dealers in North America later this month."

With Hage's promotion, Russell Merry will shift focus to the U.K. and the global parts and accessories business as well as providing strategic guidance to the CSG's global business. Dorel Sports had named Merry senior vice president and general manager of North America and the U.K. for CSG in September 2015.
