CARLSBAD, Calif. (BRAIN) — Mountain bike clothing brand Zoic has made multiple new hires in sales, dealer service and marketing in an effort to expand support for dealers across the country.
Erik DeKold has joined the company as national sales manager, bringing 18 years of industry experience ranging from bike shop employee to brand manager. He worked for eight years in sales and marketing at Canari Cyclewear.
"Zoic offers original, highly demanded apparel that is proven to deliver sales and profitability. I am eager to drive programs that educate independent bike dealers on their opportunities for growth with Zoic."
DeKold has already hired the following territory reps:

- Karlee Brandner, Pacific Northwest
- Moses Mexia, Pacific Northwest
- Shannon Austin, New England

Zoic has also brought aboard Lauren Webb as its new inside sales and support representative. An avid triathlete, Webb most recently served as the Western rep for Timex USA and has also work in sales and buying for several run specialty stores. She can be reached at lauren@zoic.com.
Additionally, Zoic has hired Erin Machan as community marketing manager. Machan will be responsible for outreach to dealers, media and consumers through brand ambassadors, partnerships and event sponsorships. In addition to having earned her master's in sport & exercise psychology, she is a competitive mountain bike racer and founder of the nonprofit Project Bike Love, which empowers women in lesser-developed countries through gifts of bikes.
