CINNCINNATI (BRAIN) — Infinit Nutrition and U.S. Masters Swimming have announced an agreement that includes the creation of a custom line of sports drinks formulated specifically to meet the needs of masters swimmers.
"Our relationship developed organically after designing some swim-specific custom blends for a product review," said Michael Folan, the founder and president of Infinit. "People in their national office were familiar with Infinit and our ability to create unique solutions for individual athletes. After they saw our customization abilities firsthand, the partnership just seemed like a natural fit. They were excited to finally find a nutritional product that would work for their diverse membership."
Kyle Deery, USMS's marketing director, said, "The USMS population includes adult swimmers from 18 to 100 years old with a wide range of fitness levels and goals. We're thrilled to partner with Infinit to provide customizable nutrition options for USMS members,. Furthermore, Infinit has shown a clear commitment to the swimming community by offering a percentage of sales back to the Swimming Saves Lives Foundation, which provides resources for adult learn-to-swim programs."
Infinit U.S. Masters Swimming formulas will include the U.S. Masters Swimming Low-Sodium Mix, Open Water Mix, Low-Calorie Mix, Training Mix, and Race-Day Blend.
U.S. Masters Swimming is a nonprofit national governing body that promotes health, wellness, fitness, and competition for adults through swimming. USMS has more than 1,500 adult swim programs across the country. Nearly 65,000 adults are registered members.
