Hawley adds resources to its western distribution center

Published December 28, 2015

LEXINGTON, S.C. (BRAIN) — Hawley has completed the restructuring of its western distribution center in Sparks, Nevada, and added additional resources.

As of Jan. 1 the distribution center will offer full-fledge services — from mechanical repairs to managing all returns and warranties — for brands including SRAM and Tacx. Several of the distribution center's employees recently travelled to Tacx in the Netherlands to be certified for repairing Tacx trainers. The Sparks distribution center has also consolidated all LOOK bike and pedal warranty operations, which were formerly handled by LOOK USA. The center is also equipped to manage all EVO and Simcoe bike warranty issues.

Hawley also announced that it has hired two new inside sales representatives, John Costanza and Glenn Summers, who are located in the western facility, bringing the west sales team up to 16.

"Right on the heels of our announcement that Hawley will be opening a new 44,000 square foot distribution center in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, in spring 2016, I am thrilled that our dealers on the U.S. West Coast will now also benefit from our stellar brand know-how, service and streamlined logistics," said Sylvain Caya, the president of Hawley-Lambert. "Our company is synonymous with service and we plan to deliver on that promise to U.S. retailers each and every single day."
