MONTREAL (BRAIN) — Consumer-direct mountain bike brand YT Industries has expanded its presence in North America by opening a new service center in Montréal that will serve the Canadian market.
Canada was previously handled by pro rider Cameron Zink, YT’s U.S.-based distributor. Jean Martin “JM” Gagne, who recently was in charge of U.S. and Canadian distribution for French suspension brand BOS, will now take over customer service for YT in Canada.
“JM is familiar with the market and he knows our bikes as well as we do. That is one reason why we brought (him) on board. Another reason is that we also want to be able to offer an uncomplicated service in Canada, which is only possible if we are on site,” said Markus Flossmann, founder and CEO of YT Industries.
Founded in Forchheim, Germany, in 2008, YT Industries entered the North American market in January.
