Vanilla Workshop to hit the road for California Fit Tour

Published April 7, 2015

PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Portland-based frame maker Vanilla Workshop will pack up a truck with bikes and head south later this month for its California Fit Tour, bringing owner Sacha White's fit program to stops in San Francisco and Los Angeles. White founded Vanilla Bicycles in 1999 and has also produced bikes under the Speedvagen brand since 2006.

"One of the biggest barriers for our customers has been getting the proper fit. There are tons of fit options out there, but fit is subjective and you don't really know what you're getting with the different methods and differing levels of experience," White said.

"We try and fit as many of our customers as possible, ensuring they'll be comfortable, fast and especially properly balanced on the bike we are making for them. This is just one example of our 'built in house' mentality that adds value to the overall package."

The tour will first stop at Mission Workshop in San Francisco from April 30-May 3 and then continue to Golden Saddle Cyclery in Los Angeles from May 4-6. Those interested in scheduling a fitting should contact info@speedvagen.com for more information and availability.
