GREENSBORO, N.C. (BRAIN) — Tim Krueger, who most recently served as product manager at QBP's Salsa Cycles, has joined Bikerumor.com as a full-time writer.

Krueger managed product development for six years at Salsa, working on such projects as the Mukluk, Salsa's first fat bike; the Spearfish full-suspension 29er endurance race bike; and the Salsa Bucksaw, the first production full-suspension fat bike. He has a total of 17 years of industry experience, including stints managing a loaded bike touring company and managing the New Moon bike shop in Wisconsin.

"Tim's experience runs from top to bottom," said Bikerumor founder and editor Tyler Benedict. "His knowledge of the industry brings a true insider's perspective to our team. Equally impressive is his enthusiasm for the industry and telling those stories in new ways."

"Bikerumor was already my go-to morning reading to find out what was new in the world of cycling products every day," Krueger said. "I really like their fast-paced blogging style and ability to get the most current news out so quickly. I wanted to flip my role in the industry and find a new way to promote cycling, and Bikerumor's vast global readership means our information has power and reaches cyclists everywhere. It's a great opportunity."

Bikerumor has also added Ahmaud Templeton and Kelsey Phillips as freelance contributors. Templeton is a graduate student at Guilford College in Greensboro and an avid mountain biker. Phillips works as a bike messenger while attending Northwestern University, and races road, cyclocross and track.
