BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — The Outdoor Industries Women's Coalition is seeking nominations for its Bike Industry Pioneering Woman and First Ascent Awards.
The awards were established by OIWC in 2006 to recognize the impact women have had on the bike industry and their local communities.
The Pioneering Woman Award honors an industry leader who has proven leadership skills and has paved the way for other women; the First Ascent Award honors an up-and-coming leader who shows strong potential for being an industry influencer. Past winners include Jenn Dice, PeopleForBikes; Georgena Terry, Terry Precision Cycling; Penina Bush, Shimano American Corp.; and Ellen Johnson, Advanced Sports International.
Nominations must be completed and submitted by June 30 via the OIWC website. Questions can be directed to OIWC program director Amy Luther at aluther@oiwc.org.
