PowerTap extends warranty to two years on power meters

MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — PowerTap will now be offering a two-year warranty worldwide for all of its power meters, including its new GS line. This new warranty doubles the length of their previous one-year warranty in many countries, making it consistent worldwide. 

“We’ve worked hard to offer the lightest, most accurate and easiest-to-use power meter available,” said Jesse Bartholomew, PowerTap's category manager. “None of that matters if it doesn’t work every single day. To prove our commitment to quality we’re pleased to offer a two-year warranty on any PowerTap-branded hub.”

PowerTap has been on the market more than 15 years and the company said many of its first PowerTap hubs, with wired connections, are still in use.  

The two-year warranty applies to any PowerTap-branded G3 or GS hub.
