SEATTLE, WA (BRAIN) — Seattle Bike Supply has promoted John “JQ” Quattrocchi to vice president of purchasing and product development and Rickey Strawn to national sales manager as the Accell Group-owned distributor positions for growth in 2014.
“These promotions are exactly what we need for the future,” said SBS president Greg Blackwell. “Both JQ and Rickey process an excellent knowledge of the industry, market and IBD dealer base and their expertise is essential to our growth.”
Quattrocchi has been with SBS for more than 25 years, starting as a warehouse employee before moving on to sales. More recently he has worked in product management for SBS-owned brands Torker, Pryme and Redline, and has held a senior management role in purchasing and product development the past two years.
“I am thrilled to be a part of SBS growth efforts. We are taking huge steps forward and I am excited about the team spirit that surrounds me as we take on new initiatives for 2014,” Quattrocchi said.
Strawn has more than 25 years of industry sales management experience with companies including Specialized, Fox Racing and Raleigh America, He has been with SBS the past two years.
“The opportunity to lead our sales team and reach new levels of success is a goal I couldn’t pass on,” Strawn said.
