LONGMONT, CO (BRAIN) — Cyclocross mechanics who can write creative and compelling stories about their 'cross pit adventures could win merchandise worth $260 from CrossVegas sponsors Glacier Glove and Alaskan Hard Gear.
Organizers of the race — to be held Sept. 18 in Las Vegas, during the Interbike Expo week — are conducting a writing contest for cyclocross mechanics. They are being asked to tell their best (or worse) story from the pits. They must submit the story to contest@crossvegas.com before Sept. 1. The two most creative and compelling stories will win a full Glacier Glove and Alaskan Hard Gear mechanics foul-weather outfit valued at $257.98.
The winning stories will be selected by Sept. 5 and will be posted on CrossVegas.com.
