Published November 15, 2007

VAN NUYS, CA (BRAIN)—Easton-Bell Sports reported net sales for the third quarter grew 1.1 percent to $188.6 million from $186.5 million last year.

Action Sports net sales increased 3.8 percent to $82.7 million in the third fiscal quarter of 2007 due to increased sales of cycling helmets and specialty channel accessories, partially offset by a decrease in sales of snow helmets.

During the first three fiscal quarters of 2007, an additional $48.5 million and $0.4 million in net sales were attributable to the Easton and Cyclo/Shanghai Cyclo acquisitions, respectively, with $45.4 million attributable to Team Sports and $3.5 million attributable to Action Sports.
