VALENCIA, CA (BRAIN)—Renthal's product line is now available in the United States through QBP and SBS.

The ever increasing range currently features two models of handlebar in six bend shapes, three models of chainring, a stem and grips. Plenty more is due to be released over the coming months.

I came to Rivendell like a refugee, dragging my belongings behind me in a red roller borrowed from my wife.  A January fugitive from Seattle, I was seeking sunlight and perhaps a bit of enlightenment.  Having taken the BART train directly from SFO to Walnut Creek, I dodged SUV's while jaywalking across busy suburban streets.  Whenever I extended my stride, the roller would bounce off my heel and go into a Dutch roll, trying to twist out of my grasp.

MONTEREY, CA—The Sea Otter Classic, which starts today, is looking to attract more women and dealers for the 2011 edition.

While Sea Otter has done a much better job over the last couple of years at introducing more women’s specific activities, this is the first year it’s been formalized.

MONTEREY, CA (BRAIN)—This year’s Bicycle Leadership Conference, which officially kicked off yesterday, expects roughly 210 attendees at the Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa through tomorrow.

Last year the BLC had 190 attendees. The hotel’s capacity is 220 people.
