ST. PAUL, Minn. (BRAIN) — Retailer Bob Sumada was proud to report that not only had he not hung any more bikes from his store’s ceiling, he had also taken most of the empty hooks down. By the end of winter, he said, the rest of the “ceiling bikes” would be gone.

California supplier vows to appeal jury verdict.

TAMPA, Fla. (BRAIN) — A former Giant dealer, in a dispute that centered on Giant Bicycle Inc. opening up a nearby competitor, has won a multimillion-dollar jury award after a two-year-long lawsuit. But Giant’s attorney, Sheldon Warren, said Wednesday that the company plans to appeal the decision.
