TEMPE, Ariz. (BRAIN) — While requests are still being accepted, so far just five importers asked for their products to be excluded from new tariffs. One of them, State Bicycle Co., received the exclusion.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Singlespeed adult bikes and, apparently, e-bikes, have earned an unexpected reprieve from tariffs imposed by the Trump administration last year.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — A California congressman helped push through a bill that would award Greg LeMond a Congressional Gold Medal. The bill passed the House Thursday and now heads to the Senate.

Rep. Mike Thompson, a Democrat who represents California's 5th district, sponsored the bill.

The system includes a rear hub motor, a 250Wh battery unit, a 250Wh expansion battery, and an integrated on-bike control unit and smartphone app.
