PHILDELPHIA, PA (BRAIN)—The Bicycle Product Suppliers Association (BPSA) reports that dollar sales of its members to dealers were down 10 percent compared with the same quarter last year. Unit shipments were down 18 percent over the same period.

AUSTIN, TEXAS (BRAIN)—Lance Armstrong’s Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop is set to open tomorrow (Saturday, May 9) in downtown Austin, Texas.

The grand opening celebration starts at 7 a.m. and includes book signings, special guests and giveaways, according to the Mellow Johnny’s Web site.
