Lectric eBikes unveils its first cargo bike

Published February 21, 2023

PHOENIX (BRAIN) — Lectric eBikes has manufactured its first cargo bike designed to haul up to 450 pounds of payload while offering an automobile alternative, according to the brand.

The XPedition can travel up to 150 miles on a dual-battery charge and is also offered in a single-battery configuration (75 miles on a charge). The new Lectric Pedal Assist Wattage Regulation (PAS) program paired with a 1,310-watt rear hub motor offers assistance by supporting the rider up to a designated power level for each PAS setting, instead of limiting the assistance by speed.

The bike rolls on 20-inch wheels with 3-inch slicks, comes with a dual-leg kickstand, and 180mm front and rear hydraulic brakes. Lectric will offer custom designed accessories, including extra-large panniers, a plus-one chair, running boards, and more.

The dual-battery XPedition retails for $1,699 and weighs 75 pounds, and the single-battery model retails for $1,399 and weighs 68 pounds. They are available at LectriceBikes.com.
